What is that "Head Up" stick ad for?
I don’t even know what category to put this question in — it’s about a product I’m seeing advertised frequently on t.v., but none of us know what in the world it’s for. The Ad shows a woman rubbing this stuff on her forehead and the product is called HEAD UP. It’s in a stick like applicator. Has anyone else seen it? I see it advertised on the main channels about 5 times a day. But, the ad doesn’t say what it’s for!!! I thought it might be headache medicine. My husband thought it was for some sort of rash. My mother said she thought it was something to reduce wrinkles. I’m putting this question in the Health category since I’m going with my headache theory.
Oops…it’s Head On I’ve learned. (thanks to my one answerer) Guess I’ve attended too many ball games.
At what age should a woman start using anti-wrinkle face lotions?
I am 24 year old female and was wondering at what age should i really start using anti-wrinkle facial creams. My skin still appears young and I want to do everything possible to prevent/reduce wrinkles. I also have acne prone skin. Does anyone know of a good product?
Thanks!!
what is the best drugstore-priced facial skin moisturizer for an aging woman with dry skin?
Please suggest a product that is not greasy, but actually does what it says it will do. I’d like to effectively reduce fine lines and wrinkles, especially around my mouth. I quit smoking cigarettes many, many, many years ago.
What age should woman (or men) start using anti aging creams and such?
I’m sure its different for everyone but should you start using before you notice wrinkles or when you see them?
Why do stupid women spend so much money on beauty creams?
Seriously, why do women spend so much money on beauty creams? For example, my Cosmo magazine is advertising eye gels for dollars. Aren’t people smart enough to realize that wrinkles are caused by exposure to the sun and pollutions? The best way to avoid skin damage is by wearing sunscrean and a hat! Exposure to the sun is like cooking in an oven. It will make you nice and brown, but you will dry up and wrinkle. Miracle creams are not going to reverse sun damage.
Be smart ladies, realise that skin care is basic. Keeping out of the sun, away from solariums is the best thing you can do to prevent wrinkles, not by buying a miracle gel.
Sami – that’s so true. Multi Million Dollar Cosmetic companies make money out of uneducated people.
Calling all dermatologists or eye skin specialists- Wrinkle help for a 20 year old.?
I am just twenty but I suddenly have lines under my eyes. I currently use Shiseido’s "The Skincare Eye Soother" and it only reduces puffines and dark circles, it does do that well but I think I need to move on to something else for my wrinkles though.
1. I need recommendations for what to use.
2. I want to know if using anti-wrinkle cremes at such a young age will have long term negative effects or will they lose effectiveness over time. In other words, do eye cremes work like antibiotics do? Like we know we shouldn’t take penicillin for a cold, do cremes and small lines have the same relationship? I know the biology behind my two analogies would not be the same though. I just want to make sure I do not over do anything on my skin.
Details: I don’t get a lot of sleep but I can’t change that because I’m a student at an academically rigorous school, I have an internship, and I believe in a social life. I am working on getting decent amounts of sleep though.
