I am 23 years old I have no children and I am getting married towards the end of this year. Me and my fiance have been going over what birth control ideas we should do and both of us keep coming back to me getting a vasectomy. She has used birth control in the past and many different brands and has gotten very sick off of all of them so that is out of the question and along with all the other birth controls for women because of the products that are in them. And condoms are too unpredictable and also them feeling odd. Getting her tubes tied is too expensive and I would never want her to go through that if such a quick surgery could be done to me with minimal problems. So if anyone could help Do i have grounds for a Vasectomy? I know that some doctors will not give you one if you do not have kids or if its not a medical problem. Also forgot to mention that the kids factor is that there are so many kids out there to be adopted that in the future if we ever did have the urge to have a child adoption is such a great thing, my sister has two children that are adopted and its been such a blessing, so is this somethingg that I should bring up when seeing the doctor. So if anyone has ever went through this and could help just drop an answer for me. Thanks

I had my tubes done in 1994. They were burned with a laser in 3 different places. Is it even possible that they grew back? My cycle is late!

All day I have been having this fluttery feeling in my belly. I had my tubes tied 12/17/2008 6 weeks after the birth of my daughter. I had somewhat normal cycles until this year. That’s when they started coming every other month. I had a liver biopsy on 09/24/10 and came on my cycle 09/27/10-10/02/10 and have not had a cycle since. I had this same feeling with my daughter at early stages in my pregnancy but wonders if anyone else has ever felt this?

I am 29 years old. About 2 weeks ago my breast started to hurt a little, and now it is more prominent. I at first found a small little pea size lump, now its bigger and my breast feels engorged. I am 99% sure that its not pregnancy because I have had my tubes tied, cut, and burnt. The pain is on the outside of my right breast and it hurts to touch it. In comparison to my left breast it is bigger. I have never had any breast pain during or before my menstrual cycle. I do go to see my OBGYN on Wed. but not sure what she will say or do. My step-mom had stage 3 breast cancer and in the beginning she was told it was just fibrous and no need for alarm and then less than a year later she found out she was at stage 3 and lost her breast. I just don’t want that to happen to me because i am only 29 and not even at the age where it should even be a worry.
As far as a cancer gene, no, there is not one my "step-mom" is the one that had the cancer. A new bra has already been tried, even no bra.
And I do have a lump its quite large, but didn’t start out that way.

My husband and I just lost our baby at 6 weeks they had to do a D&C . We are so scared to go threw it agian , my Dr gave me the choice of having my tubes tied. I dont know what to do we have a 2 year old and a 1 year old. I cant figure out if I am just sad and want the baby stage back we were looking foward to it. My husband tells me to do whatever I want. I asked the dr and he told me I have an 85% chance of having a good next pregnancy. Anybody ever had to go threw this?
