I hear a lot about Menopause, but not much about, Pre- Menopause.
I am 45 and still get my menstrel, but all the signs of Menopause.. Hot flashes too, aweful mood swings, memory loss a little.
I sure wish someone would make special hair and skin care products for women over, 35 to 50ish.
Including hair coloring products.
Any advice is welcome, tips, ideas, like that..
My hair is baby fine hair, silky texture, and thinning, will it grow back ?

Adult diagnosis of ADHD in men…?

Curious here. Is it common for a man to be diagnosed with ADHD as an adult (at age 32)? And if so, what kind of Doctor would be the one to give the diagnosis? A counselor? A counselor with a PhD? Or a different doc?

A couple of years ago, my husband and I were having terrible problems. He physically threw me into a few walls in our house during a fight, and the courts ordered him to go to counseling. The counselor he went to prescribed him Celexa, an anti-depressant, and also told him he has ADHD. Is ADHD something you can "get" as you get older? I always thought it was a condition you were born with. I’ve done some reading on it, and I’ve known children who have it, and he doesn’t show any signs of it at all. But now, when we fight he will use the ADHD as an excuse for his behavior. He refuses to see a doctor, or even another counselor, and refuses the concept of meds. The only difference in our fights now, is there not physical. But he gets nasty with words.

Gum disease and an abscess tooth that is loose…?

Help! Don’t know what to do but I’m sure that I have gum disease stemming from 5 years back. All of my research indicates that I got it while pregnant with my first daughter. I cracked a molar too during that pregnancy. So now that all of that has happened I never went to the dentist because I was either pregnant or didn’t have insurance. Now the tooth is loose and I can’t chew down on it. It formed some sort of (what I think is an,) abscess on my gums. I can see the signs of my gum wearing away to expose my teeth too, suggesting the worst stage of gum disease. I didn’t know all of this until I started researching. Is there a dentist on here that can inform me of what I have to look forward too? I’m terrified of the dentist, it’s part of the reason I never went.

anti aging, chemical vs natural products in the long run?

I have been using natural products (yogurt to cleanse, acv toner and a regular store brought moisturizer and spf for about a year) but last night I tried one of Olay’s regenerist cream cleansers. I want to take care of my skin to reduce acne, discoloration and dryness now in my 20′s but I wondered if my natural products are doing the trick. I mean my skin looks good but am I really putting ingredients on my skin that will prevent aging signs 15-20 years from now like crows feet or wrinkles or elastic beakdown with using the natural products? I know the natural ingredients may be better for skin health but I want to preserve the youthfull look of my skin as long as I can. Although natural products may be healthy for skin in the long run I want the anti aging/preservation too. I was thinking of adding some mychelle serems and moisturizers b/c they are still natural but I don’t know if that’s good enough. It might be better to use a cleanser, serem and moisturizer with anti aging to get the full benefits. What do you’ll think? In the long run natural helps with skin health but does it help with anti aging?
