I got it two months ago without knowing what it was because I thought it was some formed of dermatitis. It started to spread from one cheek, big red bumps to my left cheeks but now they are just small red pustules like. It used to be itchy and burning. Since being on doxycycline, no longer feel the intense itchy and burn.

Why do women get them especially I am 22 year old and never have any severe acne problem before. Does dust played a part? I cleaned my room entirely and sniffed in a lot of dust and had a rash from a cosmetic products before too.

I’m a female and get this in my bikini area. It’s when after shaving, the hair follicles become inflamed and trap the hair under the skin, causing red bumps to appear. I only get this in my bikini area and no where else. I use new, good razors, I keep the area clean, I use men’s bump products and they work great… but I feel really weird about it. No women’s products work as effectively as men’s products, but I still feel like a weirdo buying them. Just wondering if there any other girls out there with the same condition…

Does anyone know a product that I could find in accesible places like Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. for post shaving of pubic hair? Something that reduces red bumps/itching/ingrown hairs that is also not mad expensive?

I use shaving cream and a razor like normal, but I have sensitive skin so that’s why it gets irritated.
Is there a lotion out there at the reg. drug stores that woman can use for that?
