In recent months I have seen two very pregnant women wearing bikinis at a local swimming spot. I have also seen pregnant women with bare belly tops at a mall and in retail stores. Also, I work out at a large coed gym, and one pregnant woman is there working out in a bare belly top several days a week. What is your opinion on this?

OK, so im really concerned right now!! my fiance is pregnant, and like most pregnant women, their more prone to yeast infections. she didnt know she had one but as soon as we found out, we stopped having sex all together and she started taking meds.

BUT..the skin on my shaft was, and still was continuing to peel..really badly even after sex stopped!! we asked her doctor if the Y/F could have caused it but they said no. thing is this happened 3weeks ago, and she went to the hospital again last night (due to the pregnancy) and they said she had it again..but they had just caught it in the beginning stages..

but what worries me is that when we werent having sex..the skin kept peeling..

(i must admit though..i was wacking it alot)

so what i wanna know is..has any other guy gone through this and do i need to be worried;; is she doing this to me;; or am i doin this to her…;; or do i just need lotion

I have a friend who I suspect has FAS because of her appearance – her face looks like pictures of people with FAS. I also suspect this because her mother was always drunk in her ealiest stages of pregnancy. Yet my friend is tall and super intelligent. Is it possible she only got a few FAS features? Doesn’t seem very likely now that I think of it.

Also, wasn’t it a widespread fact during the late 60′s that alcohol was bad for pregnant women? She says people didn’t know back then. I think they did.

This is my first pregnancy and not sure what to expect. I’m 34 weeks and have sharp pains in my Virginia. They last for a split second and won’t come back for hours or the next day. Are those pains the Braxton Hicks that everyone talks about? Also I know a lot of pregnant women get constipated, but I get diarrhea. I have had is for a day in a half. Called my doctor and was advised to take some over the counter medication. Is that normal for someone at my stage of pregnancy?

I read somewhere that folic acid is good for the healthy growth of hair & nails. But when I went to the pharmacy, I found out that folic acid is for pregnant women, so I pulled back. I’m NOT pregnant, and I’m NOT trying conceive either. I just wanted to improve the condition of my hair that’s why I wanted to take folic acid. Had terrible falling hair for several months now. Tried several hair products, but none of them worked.

I’ve heard that these are "miracle" products that can boost your energy and even make pregnant women have no morning sickness. How do you take it? And where can I get it?
By the way, I’m not pregnant. It was just something that I read and was curious about. Thanks for all the great answers so far!
