I’m sorry for asking and (in some ways) repeating myself but i am quite worried that i might be pregnant. And like i’ve said in previous questions, i can’t depend on my period due to the fact that it comes rarely and randomly. I am new to this, and i’m sorry for asking so many things. But i also don’t understand when a box in the women’s department of a store near pregnancy tests, says "how to find out when ur next ovulation is due!" or something along those lines… what is ovulation exactly and how or does it effect pregnancy? is a ovulation test a pregnancy test? if someone would be willing to chat with me or answer these questions i’d very much appreciate it. and thank you for all those who have already responded. =)

I found out I was pregnant a few days ago via two pregnancy tests. Before I go any further, I should say I am very liberal and I am 100 percent pro-choice, so please don’t bother using any propaganda or judgmental retorts to answer this question, it won’t get anything but bad karma for you and a thumbs down from me.

I am in the VERY early stage, maybe just two weeks pregnant, since I JUST missed my period. I am 25 and I am not married, I live with my boyfriend, and neither one of us is ready to have a kid. We both decided abortion would be the best route for our life, as well as the undeveloped zygote.

I would love a response from someone who had an abortion, and I would like to know the process and the pain as well. I doubt I will do a general anesthetic because I am deathly afraid of needles, so I was wondering if they give you gas or any valium to sedate you a bit?

I also read about many women’s success with herbal abortions, does anyone know about this? It has been kept pretty hidden, but my mother told me she tried it and was successful, taking massive doses of Vitamin C, which increases estrogen and blocks the progesterone needed to keep the zygote clinging to the wall.

I took levonelle on the 24th of august…i had what i thought was my period on the 7…(it lasted 7 days and was slightly different to my normal period, slightly lighter and at the end stage, my period was very watered down)…i’ve never had a late period, i should start tomorrow but i don’t feel like i am…does anybody know why?….i did take antibiotics 2 weeks ago, could that have affected it?…n i’ve a few pregnancy tests but they’ve come out negative!

my menstrual cycle has never been normal since i got it at an early age (11). however over the years, im now 17, it started to become regular and i noticed that if i were to have sex 5-7 days before i was supposed to get it, then it would completly skip the month and the following month it would come earlier than usual. okay well i havnt gotten it in 6 months, due to my boyfriend… but i was wondering if this is normal? i know im not pregnant because ive taken a million and one pregnancy tests and hav also gottent the blood pregnancy test…
another thing is that i got cramps 3 days ago and it looks like i got my period, but it looks like its in its last stages, which is def. not normal because my periods are really heavy the first two days n now its very very very light…

shuld i go see a doctor or wait???
also what culd cause this?
and no im not on any birth control pills

Some background: I’m 29, I started my period at age 8. I have given birth to 3 children. I’m trying for another child. I was 6 days late on my period, & never had this problem before unless pregnant. But on day 6 I started my period & bled heavily for 2 hours with cramping. Then I stopped. The next morning I woke up & was bleeding again – no cramping this time. Five pregnancy tests reveal a (-) in the window meaning I am not pregnant. I wonder if I am actually though & then I started wondering if it was actually my period becoming irregular because I am starting the stages of menopause. Everything I read says it starts about 35, but if I started my period early in life (not like the usual 15-16 yrs old) then would I be ending my periods early on in life too? I’d like to hold out hope that this is my period sputtering because of a pregnancy & it’s just too early to detect the hCG level’s yet. But only time will tell now. So I wanted to ask about the perimenopause for some thoughts.
Let me be a bit more clear – sorry if I wasn’t earlier. I do know what perimenopause is. I also know when it "usually" happens. I am NOT 35. I am 29. So my question is .. Can it happen BEFORE 30?

I am on birthcontrol, but when me and my boyfriend were ready to have sex, I hadn’t been on the pill a full month yet, so we got the plan B pill as another reassurance. Well about two weeks later we had sex again, and we got another plan B pill. My period was supposed to start the next week and I figured since it should have taken six days for the plan B pill to make me have my period, I thought it wouldn’t be a problem. But the things is I missed my period. And about 5-6 weeks after my boyfriend and I had first had sex, I started feeling nauseated and many other symptoms associated with pregnancy. I took two pregnancy tests that came out negative, and through out this whole time I continued to take my YAZ pills. Then this week I got my period and it was extremely heavy. The things is I do not know if its normal, if I was possibly in the beginning stages of my pregnancy and I lost the embryo, or if taking birth control could have made me lose it, or if the plan B really screwed with my menstrual cycle. I just need some advice.
