How does birth control affect weight loss?
I have been on a strict weight loss program. I eat generally healthy and go to the gym 5 to 6 times a week and about three times with a personal trainer.
However, soon I am planning on getting into birth control pills. I have been told that your hormones go crazy with the pills… Would this affect my weight loss? I know it reacts differently with each woman… but what are the possibilities?
Thanks in advance!

pregnancy, possible cervical cancer….advice?
I am 32 weeks pregnant. My nurse forgot to do the pap test early, and screened me late. I just found out I am at the highest precancer stage for cervical cancer. She tells me I must wait 6 weeks after birth of child to do a biopsy and colposcopy. That is a total of 14 weeks wait. I am told pregnancy quickens cancer. So, I’m wondering if I should wait so long? On the other hand, I don’t want to risk the child’s health by doing anything to bring on pre-term delivery.
I’m not worried about myself, but feeling sad I may never get to spend time with my child–see him grow up. This is my first child.
My question: am I waiting too long to get tested? The pap test doesn’t diagnose–it merely points to possibilities, I’m told.
