22-year debiliating depression following recovery from anorexia nervosa?

My daughter was anorexic for one year, beginning at age 16.

Periods stopped for 2 years because of this.

Started eating normally by age 17 and went into a severe depression almost overnight.

She’s been on approximately 15 anti-depressants and combinations over the years, and she has a good counselor and supportive friends. Her weight is normal.

Every day is a battle to get through. There’s no joy in her life.

She is desperate for help. Has anyone been through a similar ordeal? Or heard of such a thing?

She’s been to several specialists including endocrinologists, neurologists, gynecologists, psychiatrists, etc. Maybe they haven’t done the right tests.

We can’t find much information out there on the long-term effects of this condition.

Can heart problems develop from abusing amphetamines?

and anti depressants? I asked before but got no answers

To put it shortly, I used to abuse pills frequently along with drinking and smoking, all between 15 and 16. (Don’t comment on my age I don’t care what you think about that) But basically met a girl (around September-October of 2009) she got me clean and ever since then I’ll have very brief periods that last from a few seconds to a couple minutes where it feels like my heart is either being pulled backwards or needles are poking it.

Sometimes it doesn’t hurt and sometimes it does pretty badly. It usually happens just when I sit or lay down and it only occurs a couple times every 2 weeks.

I also recently discovered one month ago that the only person I love has LAM (lymphangioleiomyomatosis) so that has also put some stress on me since she could die at any moment.

Oh yeah, back when I was 13 around that age before I did any drugs I had problems with acid reflux and vocal nodules but that went away. So is it possible for me to be developing any form of heart disease already at the age of almost 17?

I’ll post more details if needed but for now I’m concerned about my own life.

But I actually did get the heart problems while still on my previous life-style of doing drugs. So does that mean I developed one during my abuse phase?

Why are all the questions in "Women's Health" related to sexual functions?

Yet, women are always complaining that "all men think about is sex"? Here is women’s health, no one is discussing about obesity or cancer, which are two of the most dangerous things to women’s health.

Women will get sun tan and eat until they are fat, then they will blame men for "just wanting sex" and yet all the women here are asking about birth control and their periods???

Have I damaged myself with contraceptive pills?

I always forget to take my contraceptive pills, I’m not up to anything right now so pregnancy isn’t a worry. However, I’ve gone through a stage of completely forgetting to take them and then when I start to come on I’ve started taking them to prevent it, and then when I go off I forget to take them again.
I started to come on yesterday and now its just completely stopped and doesn’t look the colour it usually does..(sorry). It has done this the last couple of months. I haven’t taken any pills and I’m scared I’ve completely messed up my periods? Am I likely to have done a lot of damage?
