Ive never been,but Ive had friends who are embarrased to buy female products or condoms and talk about periods. Like its taboo or something. Why is this? Everyone knows all(most) women get their periods and that many people have sex and need protection. How is it embarrasing to practice safe sex? And why is it so hard to buy a tampon for some people?

I had a miscarriage recently. Since then, my body has "stalled". I’m not having periods. What are some good foods or herbal supplements that promote women’s health that would prepare my body for future pregnancies? Any advice will help. Thank you!

My boyfriend & I ran out of condoms so we decided to just use the pull out method & we have been for about two months. well about a week & a half ago my emotions started going crazy ! and i’ve been feeling very irritated for no reason at all. I did have my period but usually my periods last about six days and a about normal to heavy flow, this one lasted about three days and was light. I read on a website you could still have light bleeding around your period during early stages of pregnancy. Just this morning when i woke up i didn’t throw up or anything but i did feel sick to my stomach. I plan on taking a pregnancy test tomorrow but until then i want some opinions do you think it could be pregnancy (keep in mind i haven’t had any other pregnancies so i dont have any expirience on this)

Hi I’m a 26 year old mother of two and I had a question regarding women’s health. This all began to take place about 6 months ago. First my periods became very very heavy suddenly, then the pain with my period became almost unbearable. Then I started having pain just as bad the week before and during my period. It became painful to insert and remove tampons, to the point I was in tears and had to stop using them. Now with in the past two months every time me and my husband have intercourse not only is it painful (in some positions it brings me to tears) but I bleed. lightly to a medium bleed for a day or two after. Does anyone know what all this might mean? I’m worried something might be wrong, but we don’t have insurance so I want to make sure it’s not all in my head before I spend the money to see the doctor.
both my sons were delivered by unplained c-sections (if that makes a difference)

I gave birth to my daughter 2 months ago and at my 6 week postpartum exam my midwife suggested that I try a Mirena IUD for birth control. Upon research of this device I found quite a bit of negative feedback. It does almost sound too good to be true: No periods after a couple months of continued use, nothing to remember, yada, yada… but most of the women in the reviews were completely upset with it and complained of heavy cramping, moodiness, and an almost unbearably painful insertion process. I would really like to hear from some ladies that have had success with this product before I take the dive and get one inserted for myself. Although, if there are more women out there totally pissed with it I would like to hear if they agree with the other negative reviews. I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but I’m a completely healthy, nonsmoking, 20 year old with no known allergies. Thanks!
