What is a good diet for someone who wants to cut weight, but not necessarily give up food?
I love food, and will probably never have the discipline to diet properly. I don’t want to look like a body builder, but would like to keep my weight off since I recently lost 30 lbs.Is there a good diet out there with good food that helps lose weight, or just keep weight off? Or a guide to nutrition because I have never been a 3 meals a day type of person.
How can I force myself to stick to my diet to get bigger and stronger?
I have had this workout program and diet plan for over 10 months now, and I haven’t started it because I can’t seem to be able to eat all this healthy food, while I get to watch my family consume junk food that smells and tastes good. How can I stay committed to my program? I can do all the workouts, but when it comes to dieting I seem to have a lot of trouble accomplishing my nutrition needs. Thank you for your time and advice.
Do you feel like you are getting a mixed message or is it just me?
I feel like women are constantly told two messages:
1. Be happy with who you are
2. Make yourself better
I was in a basic nutrition and exercise class that spent the whole class talking about how to improve our health. Then a person from the counseling center came in to talk about how you need to be happy with your body the way it is. That doesn’t make any sense to me. Isn’t it okay to be unhappy with who you are if you are hurting yourself? People complain about the diet industry’s multimillion dollar profits made off of people’s insecurities but doesn’t say anything about the multiBILLION dollar fast food business killing people with their products. Is this a legitimate complaint? I’m really confused.
Anti aging nutrition. Does anyone know what it’s about?
I want to know how anti aging nutrition will help restore my skin. I am in my mid 30s and I noticed that wrinkles are beginning to appear around my eyes and chicks. A friend recommended anti aging nutrition so I was wondering if anyone knows how effective anti aging nutrition is in skin restoration. I will appreciate any suggestion.
What is a good vitamin regimen for a healthy woman in her late 20's?
With all the different reports of which vitamins and supplements that are good for promoting health and longevity, it gets a little confusing. I want to know what are the more important Vitamins and supplements that should be taken by a healthy woman, in her late 20’s. Muti-vitamins are no good, they have low absorption rates and tend to be pretty useless as per my doctors opinion.
I am already taking B-complex, and vitamin E, but I would like to add D, C and anything else that is important for women’s health.
So if someone can steer me in the right direction of which to take and when is best to take them, it would be appreciated.
I wanted to add to this in case it was unclear. I work out regularly and eat very healthily already and have for some time so the only reason I asked the question is because I want to start taking precautions for the future, such as bone health etc. I have the bases pretty well covered but unfortunately, foods don’t always carry the same benefits as the vitamins. Thanks for all the great advice but I was looking for more of a exact vitamin/regimen for someone already knowledgeable in nutrition and fitness. Thank you all though, Yahoo answers is such a great life tool!
