I had what I thought was a yeast infection. I know the symptoms because i have had alot of them. I also went to the clinic to see if it was a yeast infection or something else. I didn’t think it was anything else because women don’t usually have symptoms of chlamydia and gonhorrea. The Nurse Practioner said she seen some yeat on the culture she took. She used a slide under a microscope. My results wont be back for the STD tests for another week. She prescribed me diflucan. I had one at home so I took it. But, that doesn’t usually work for me so I bought monistat 3 also. I used the product and when the cream comes back out it looks a lil bloody. Is this normal? I’m on Valtrex, Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, Allegra, and I’m taking once a day for women. I don’t know if any of those will cause bleeding. I have had the cream come out pink before but this time it is reddish and looks bloody. What is wrong?

This is interesting to me cause I always wanted to be in the medical field, without becoming a doctor or a nurse. How is this field different from regular physical therapy?

i am 11 weeks preg with my first after 2 miscarriage! (blessed!!)
about 2-3 weeks ago i was a little sore down there, just thought from changes, felt like i had a cut, thought maybe i wiped to hard or scratched myself..

now since sunday, ive noticed my clitoris was sore and the feeling of maybe having a cut was back, i looked down there, looks like a light cloudy discharge (no smell) but i read some discharge is normal with pregnancy… and looked like there was small pieces of toilet paper around that area so i cleaned up, and made sure i payed extra attention down there in the shower… when i woke up, check again and the pealing skin was back and i notices a break in the skin on my clitoris, well today is wednesday and all the skin has peeled off my clitoris… well im sure most of you will say go to the doc… well my insurance dosent kick in till 9-1 (appt 9-9)and i called the office and the nurse kinda rudly said we havent seen you so i cant really help you… but my question is

i will deal with the discomfort if i have to until my appt on the 9th
but if there is a infection can this harm the baby if i just let it go?

second if there any over the counter vaginal product safe for preg women?

please help if you can… can anyone relate??

this def isnt a miscarriage… ive had ultrasounds to make sure everything was ok this time… just have not been seen my a doc due to a change in insurance, but i will get to them asap!! thanks

You all can’t be registered nurses so why are you offering answers on material you’re not familiar with? Doesn’t make an sense.

I think you female trolls here in Men’s Heath are just wayyy to creepy unless you’re a nurse. But since most of you gals aren’t then it’s just strange.

i’ve been on the pill for over 3 months. the pill has really messed around with my hormones and i’ve had irregular periods the last few months and lots of break through bleeding.
i was scared to not use anything at first but after the first time i was less worried. this last month we did it quite a few times and just relied on the pill but he did pull out before ejaculation.
anyway, i’m on the 2nd pill free day of this month (pill free week) but have not had any sign of my period. if i’d never taken the pill my period would naturally have arrived around the 13th but the pill changed all the dates i’m used to so i don’t know what to expect.
my boyfriend says i should give it a while and i’m over reacting at this early stage. i’m just paranoid about getting pregnant because my parents are catholic and would be horrified to know i’m unmarried and not a virgin.
i’m going to see a nurse at my doctors on monday for jabs. should i ask for a pregnancy test if my period doesn’t come by then? i’d appreciate advice or experiences from women who’ve had this situation before to put my mind at ease. thanks!
i actually only said my parents are catholics- don’t assume i am too! i didn’t claim myself to any religion
and the pill is suppose to be over 99% effective as a method of contraception. i take it religiously everyday for 21 days on the dot of 7am and then have 7 pill free days before starting a new strip. that fact that he doesn’t ejaculate in me is simply because i’m too scared to let him. strictly speaking, the pill should protect me from pregnancy even if he did. i’m just worried about that teeny chance it doesn’t. i think i’m freaking out too much and it’s delaying my period. thanks for your answers :)
