Under-eye dryness problems?
I am a 25 year old male and for the last 10-15 years I’ve had severe dryness under my eyes (my lower eye lids) to the point where they flake really badly. I’ve tried just about every kind of super-mega moisturizer on the market and in the morning, it’s back to the way it was. I’ve use over the counter meds recommended by doctors for months and after stopping for one night, it’s already back. Nothing is working and i’m reaaaaaally wanting a solution. All doctors I’ve gone to say I just need to scrub when in the shower which is just a dumb answer. I know this isn’t normal so does anybody have any special moisturizers they trust? I also have really bad dark circles under my eyes so if I don’t use something every morning, I seriously look like the undead. If somebody could recommend some great get-rid-of-dark-circles + skin moisturizing and repairing cream safe for the eye area, I’d greatly appreciate it. All skin sections in stores and websites seem to me all based on woman’s anti-aging…
I’m a guy and in serious need of help. PLZ recommend me something that will help!
Doctor 1 recommended: Hydrocortisone cream 2.5%
Doctor 2 recommended: Erythromycin ointment
Doctor 3 recommended: scubbing harder during shower >_<
Am I a crazy insane guy?
I live in the American Garden Buildings on West Eighty-First Street, on the eleventh floor. My name is Jed Smith. I am twenty-six years old. I believe in taking care of myself, in a balanced diet, in a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now.
After I remove the icepack, I use a deep pore-cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water-activated gel cleanser, then a honey-almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb mint facial masque which I leave on for ten minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.
I always use an after-shave lotion with little or no alcohol because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm, followed by a final moisturizing "protective" lotion.
There is an idea of a Jed Smith, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable: I simply am not there.

natural/no paraben/sulfite facial care?
I’ve had it! Burts bees makes my face break out in a rash. Now I’ve been trying Dessert Essence anti aging and again, I’ve broken out into little tiny clear bubbles… I’ve also been using Jason night renewal cream and natures gate wrinkle diffuser. Aubrey organics doesn’t get the job done. I have sensitive skin that is at times dry. I hardly ever wear face makeup. Please suggest a product lineup: cleanser, moisturizer preferably anti wrinkle/aging… if you feel ambitious you can toss in masks/exfoliants for good measure ;-) thank you so so so much.
Moisturizer with sunscreen?
What are the best drug store brand moisturizer with sunscreen or just daily suncreen to use on face? I have dry skin that is prone to breakouts. Olay regenerist made me break out and Ocean Potion 50 spf anti aging was ok, but the avobenzene does not go well with my skin. I like CeraVe a lot, but it doesn’t have spf in it. any suggestions or experiences. thanks.
