What is a good shampoo and deep conditioner for ethnic (black) woman?

I currently use Pantene Pro-V for relaxed and natural hair but I am not satified with how my hair turns out once its dry. I want a good shampoo and conditioner that detangles (not Creme of Nature) and leaves hair light and soft. Any suggestions? And does anyone know a oil or moisturizer that I can use that will not weigh my hair down but will still make it shiny?

What are the best skin care ideas for a woman in her fifties?

What type of moisturizer and cleanser should I use. Do they have to be expensive? My face is in desperate need of hydration.

What SPECIFIC products can make my skin look more youthful and healthier?

I would like younger helathier looking skin. I have oily skin, so sometimes I hate to use moisturizer, but is it essential? Can you reccommend any products that would help my skin look more youthful. I am a young college age woman, but sometimes people mistake me for being in my 30′s. I have mild acne, but it’s not bad enough to go out and spend money on differnet acne medications and products, even though occasionally I use cleansers for it. Also, I’m black, and I have brown skin. its the color of coffee with a LOT of cream in it. What would be the best product for my skin to keep it youthful and pretty? any SPECIFIC products? and how often should I use them? This is especially important because Im ready to start dating and I need to improve my hygeine and appreance. thanks.

i appreciate helpful and detailed answers thanks!
Before you answer, I’m not so much concerned about the acne part of it all, but can you name some products that would make my skin more beautiful and youthful looking. If you could NAME some, I’d appreciate it thanks.

What is the best face moisturizer for a 33 year old woman?

I have combination/dry skin, breakout sometimes, and recently noticed a line on my forehead. I would like to start a routine but I need help with a good moisturizer day/night, face wash, and toner, mask, and scrub. I have tried many drugstore products (olay, neutrogena) but did not react well with my skin. Please help.

anti aging, chemical vs natural products in the long run?

I have been using natural products (yogurt to cleanse, acv toner and a regular store brought moisturizer and spf for about a year) but last night I tried one of Olay’s regenerist cream cleansers. I want to take care of my skin to reduce acne, discoloration and dryness now in my 20′s but I wondered if my natural products are doing the trick. I mean my skin looks good but am I really putting ingredients on my skin that will prevent aging signs 15-20 years from now like crows feet or wrinkles or elastic beakdown with using the natural products? I know the natural ingredients may be better for skin health but I want to preserve the youthfull look of my skin as long as I can. Although natural products may be healthy for skin in the long run I want the anti aging/preservation too. I was thinking of adding some mychelle serems and moisturizers b/c they are still natural but I don’t know if that’s good enough. It might be better to use a cleanser, serem and moisturizer with anti aging to get the full benefits. What do you’ll think? In the long run natural helps with skin health but does it help with anti aging?

Skin care: I've stopped eating sugar, now what?

I’ve finally weaned myself off sugar completely, after connecting the dots (no pun intended), and realizing I had hypoglycemic acne. My daily diet is made up of mostly fruits and leafy vegetables and broccoli now, with some almonds, a very small amount of organic yogurt, a very small amount of salmon, and either brown rice and plain oatmeal, and green tea occasionally. I take a ballet class 3-4 times a week, and feel very, very good, and very energetic and balanced. I’m left with the ravages of nearly 19 years of cystic acne on my face, neck, and chest, though, and am wondering what I can do- now that I’ve addressed what I can of the underlying cause- about my somewhat oily, pockmarked skin. I’m currently using Clinique face wash for Oily Skin, and am finishing up a tube of Neutrogena’s Anti-Wrinkle moisturizer (which I won’t be buying again). I don’t want to get involved in a massive "project" with revitalizing my skin, just a few really, really good products that actually have long-term results in clarifying scarred skin, and preventing some wrinkle formation. I’m not expecting my scars to "disappear", or to push off aging indefinitely (I’m 28), and am not looking at surgery or skin resurfacing as options. I’m not made of money, but I will pay for a really good product that works. The only caveat is that it can’t be tested on animals, and is preferably vegan (ie, it has the flying bunny logo on it). That pretty much leaves anything on the Sephora website as a viable option, and I’d really appreciate any ideas-

Thank you in advance.
I drink at least 60 ounces of water a day, sometimes more.
