Allergic Reaction to CoverGirl Clean Liquid and Powder Foundation…Suggestions Please?

I have never been a fan of liquid foundation or pressed powder for that matter, until I noticed funds were a little low and that buying a cheaper, generic brand as opposed to the higher priced mineral foundations, was more acceptable. I wish I hadn’t. I had chosen to purchase Cover Girl Clean Sensitive Skin Liquid and matching Pressed powder hoping for minimal to mild coverage. Oh my God, was I in for a surprise. After lightly applying this foundation, within four hours red blister-like bumps began to appear on my jawline and facial area. My skin bear in mind has been acne free since I was 15 years old; I only wear foundation to minimize my rosacea. After removing the product from my face as quickly as possible, I assumed the worst was over, and to treat these bumps with a noxzema mask and an application of Aloe Vera gel. I soon went to bed with my hubby, and awoke the next morning to huge blisters all over my face, filled with a clear liquid. The bumps are warm to the touch and feel swollen. I immediately called Covergirl only to discover four other women, myself not included had called regarding the same product with similar symptoms. How wonderful, eh? A refund for the cosmetics was all that was offered, and a pharmacist was of no help at the local CVS for an over the counter medication referral. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms regarding cosmetics? Suggestions as to what medications may help are greatly appreciated. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life, nor do I feel comfortable having my husband look at me.
Thanks so much.
Yours Truly,
Katy

Is it safe to take topamax and water pills for weight loss?

I went to a local weight loss center and the Dr there prescribed these pills for me. I’m taking 50 mg topamax per day and a water pill. I’ve lost 14 lbs in 6 weeks (YEAH!!) but starting to worry about side effects and getting off the medication. Also concerned about what my "real" Dr will say. Comments?? Suggestions??

Has anyone ever been prescribed bipolar medication combined with a weight loss aid?

Should I be concerned about taking Wellbutrin for weight loss?

My doctor prescribed me Wellbutrin, take one 75mg tab in the AM and a second 75mg tab before 5pm. I’ve read the literature that comes with the prescription as well as the internet but have not read where it is prescribed to patients to help weight loss. I probably could use the help from the anti-depressant but I am far more worried about my weight at the moment. So, I’m wanting to know if anyone has been given this medication for the purpose of weight loss and if it helped, etc. Thanks!

I have SEVERAL women health related issues..?

I have gained a lot of weight recently, due to working and taking night classes; thus not having time to exercises and eating fast food AND eating late every night. And…

* I have not gotten my period in 4 months.

* I feel like I have "hot flashes" because at random points I get very hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable (even when I am just sitting down).

* One of my breasts is extremely tender and hurts at the slightest pressure exerted on it (i.e. adjusting my bra, hugging someone, sleeping on my left side)

* I have been exercising A LOT and eating healthy for a couple of months now and still have not lost a SINGLE pound.

I am an 18 year old working student. I am not pregnant, I am not on birth control (or any other medication for that matter), and I am not sexually active.

I am very concerned about all of this.

Any help with these issues, including how they could be related would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I do not have health insurance, so I appreciate that people believe that I should go to the gynecologist but please bear in mind that I simply cannot at this time..

Thank you very much in advance.

Which depression or anxiety medications are most known for weight loss?

I have an appointment to get anxiety and depression medication that I genuinely need. Which depression and/or anxiety medications are most notable for weight loss? I want to take whatever helps with appetite suppression. PLEASE don’t answer if you don’t have an answer to my question… in other words, please don’t tell me not to take medication for the weight loss. It’s just a fun bonus that I want.
Thanks- I’m also trying to get Adderall but because I need a 4.0.
