My husband and I have decided that I should go of the pill – it causes dark marks on my face, which got worse over the last year or so.

My last period was very normal.

Now – the first day of my cycle was on the 13th of December (the last time I took the pill). We were careful between the 23th till the 31st, which, according to my calculations, is when I’m supposed to be ovulating.

If we are working on a 28day cycle – I was supposed to have been having my period since Monday… but I have merely been spotting – with close to nothing at all and now it stopped again.

What I can remember from my pre-pill days is I’m rarely late. I have done home pregnancy test and they where both negative -we are not really planning to fall pregnant at this stage.

Have anybody had similar experiences when going of the Pill? That your next cycle was longer than normal? I expected it sooner rather than later…

Well I’ve been trying for about 2 months now and I had my last period on November 17th. It went for exactly 4 days and came exactly 4 days late. I usually have my period every 21 days for 6 days. It is now monday the 13th and I’ve been having sex pretty much every day. I tried to use one of those ovulation calculators and since my cycle has gone nuts I had to do 2 different calculations. I am somewhere between 15 and 18 days past ovulation and it’s been 25 days since the end of my period.
The thing is however, I had been having strange spotting since thursday night. It was a brown colour most of the time but sometimes it got very light pink. I didn’t even wear a pad or use a tampon because it was so light, there might have been a little bit of brown on my undies, or a tiny bit of pink on the toilet paper when I peed. It has now stopped, really ending last night (Monday night) I really do not know if Im pregnant or not. I took a pregnancy test today which was a "Confirm" one step test that was negative. It is a 25 MlU test and I used my first morning urine and it was negative.
Lately I’ve been:
Needing to pee a lot more
Exhausted
Slightly nauseous and I have had a few cases of throwing up, especially at night when the nausea really hits
and I’ve been getting headaches lately, much more frequently and painful than ever, although they aren’t quite migraines.
And I’ve had slight cramps at the very bottom of my belly (Im really not sure what it is exactly, my uterus probably?) Although ever since I got my period when I was 10, I’ve had shocking mind-numbing cramps and these were nowhere near as painful.
I am just so confused, can someone tell me what they think is going on?

I’m thinking of seeing a GP but I don’t know if I should because I have no real evidence and don’t want to waste a doctor’s valuable time for no reason.
Lol thanks FerretWonder. David is absolutely a hypocrite. Lol but medicare of course. I dont pay for medical treatment, and Im thinking of going to a sexual health clinic to take a sensitive urine or blood test.

I was just wondering if anyone out there would be able to help me out here… I’m 16 years old and have been in an active sexual relationship for the past three months, and today is exactly 8 days after my period should be due. I know straight away that’s ringing alarm bells for pregnancy and what not, so on the first day my period was due I took a home pregnancy test which told me I wasn’t pregnant. Obviously I was relieved, but my period still had not come. I took another home pregnancy test (different brand as well), 4 days later and again the result was not pregnant. By this stage I wasn’t worrying too much, just waiting for my period to come (which it still hasn’t) but today is the 8th day after I am due for my period. I took another pregnancy test (a different brand to the previous two) about half an hour ago, and yet again the result is not pregnant.
Now, I guess I’m getting a little paranoid.. where is my period and why is it so late?

About one week after my last period, I had taken the morning after pill after suspicion the condom might have leaked. I haven’t received it since then, it couldn’t be a side effect could it?
Also, I’m noticing a bit of a discharge in my underwear that smells slightly of chlorine… please help :)

After having sex recently, my girlfriend has been having this internal sort of pain that she says is a constant need to pee, but when she tries, nothing happens. Like having a constipated bladder, if you will. I don’t know much, but she’s been looking into it and worried that she could either have something like BV or worse, pregnant. As she told me, women who are pregnant have a frequent urge to pee in the early stages. However, does this also mean that they come up short? Because that’s her problem. Also, I am hesitant to think that she could pregnant because of two things: we are only recently sexually active, and we had sex after her last period, and from what I understand it is rare for a pregnancy to occur shortly after a period; also, because I am pretty sure that I pulled out early so that I wouldn’t come inside her.

I know we may sound immature, but we’ve actually been together for years and holding out. For reference, we have not had any other partners.

What could it be?
Does UTI (and a doctor who would check for it) reveal sexual activity? We don’t need her parents to know (and for the record, we’re not teenagers!)…

i allready had my period this month 7 days and now i have a brownish colord blood when i wipe and go to the washroom… what could this be?? Could it be a early early stage of pregnancy???

My period came 2 weeks late and I really thought I was pregnant. It was very spotty on and off the first day then the next it was a normal flow not heavy though, then the next day it was a little heavier than the other (nothing out of the norm). Sat it was spotty and then the flow stopped for a few hrs then started back up again to a norm flow then yesterday the flow stopped and period ened and today I’m spotting brownish-redish pink with some clear discharge! This has never happed to me before and my boobs are weird feeling. I still have pregnancy symptoms and I still believe I’m pregnant. Has anyone in the early stages of pregnancy experienced this? Is it possible to have one last period? Idk, I’m confused, either way this "period" is abnormal evethough I had a few days of a "normal flow"
