What happens to sperm after it's ejaculated into a woman who's had a full hysterectomy?

A woman at work had a hysterectomy and we wondered if a man were to ejaculate into her, what would happen to the sperm? Would it just get absorbed into her body? Any suggestions?

Are there any health benefits for women who have not borne children?

I am 40. Two older women at work were sharing hysterectomy stories with me. Both had had two children, both had been found to have a "dead" ovary and extensive uterine fibroids, both had been age 48 at the time of surgery. It made me wonder if my decision to remain childless (one terminated pregnancy before the 3rd month) would affect my health in any beneficial way. I have been on birth control pills since age 18.

What type of surgery could a woman have that she might not want to discuss?

A female friend of mine stated that she recently had surgery, and asked if I could take her to the hospital. Of course I said no problem, and when I asked what type of surgery, she stated that she’d rather not say. What type of female surgery might a woman be hesitant to reveal to a close friend? I know it’s not a hysterectomy because she is planning to have more children.
Also, she has had other outpatient surgeries in the past, that she voluntarily told me about, which is the only reason I felt comfortable asking about this one.
I’m pretty sure it’s not plastic surgery. :)
She’s going through financial transition right now, and I don’t think plastic surgery would be in her budget. But I’ll keep my eyes open. :)
