My professor said that the cause of a lot of breast cancer in women is their use of bleach and other cleaning products. (They are the gender that does most of the cleaning). I believe it. All those bleach products probably are dangerous carcinogens. I work at a daycare and they make me constantly spray bleach on everything….use it to wipe down the diaper table, spray on all the toys everyday, use it to wipe the table 3 times a day. The worst germ that the kids could get would be the stomach flu or the common cold. The days of infectious disease like smallpox and TB is over…..Now they risk getting cancer form all the bleach..myself included.

Thoughts?

I came down with Swine Flu on Tuesday, went to the doctor on Wednesday and got Tamiflu. The doctor told me that it will most likely make me feel nauseous. I have a phobia (not just a fear) of throwing up.

My doctor (like 3 or 4 years ago) gave me a prescription for some anti-nausea drugs for migraines. My Mum was with me at the time and he said I could take them every FOUR hours. I still had some left so I thought I’d take them.

I took them every four hours or so over two days.

On Thursday at exactly 3pm my body started becoming very sore and stiff, so I rung my dorm manager and she called an ambulance. Then I started having convulsions, I could not speak or move.

It took the doctors an hour to work out that I’d overdosed on the anti nausea pills, which were actually meant to be taken every EIGHT hours.

Eventually they gave me a fair amount of muscle relaxants and I slowly was able to talk and move again.

I’m in a University dorm (I’m an RA) and everyone (some how!) heard that I OD. They are asking me why I did it? was I depressed? was I trying to kill myself?..

And I wasn’t!

My boyfriend wont come visit me because he thinks he’ll get swine flu, my family live ages away and I’m still traumatized by it all!

I don’t want to face people now..

What should I do?

I was prescribed Aldara to initially treat my Genital warts. Aldara turned out to be a horrible medication that not only burned me but caused me the FLU, throbbing legs, muscle pain, vomiting, diarrhea…not to mention the lack of sleep and overall feeling of being sedated. AWFUL! I even asked here for support since the med was driving me crazy.

When I decided to stop the treatment on my own after reading a crazy amount of websites and lawsuits against the medication, my doctor (which has been incredibly slooooow) decided to prescribe Condylox. He asked me "not to do research" because it was "driving me crazy". I certainly did and got even more terrified.

Have anyone heard if Condylox is related to infertility of if it will cause any problems for a woman (30 years old) who’s trying to get pregnant or at least planning a pregnancy by the end of this year or the next?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I think I have gone from the initial stage (last year) to the ‘I’m extremely frustrated and angry’ stage. Doctors are really not helping :-( .

Please help

I received mine this morning, about 12 hours ago, and got a headache within an hour after and started having nausea and weakness about 3 hours ago. Are these normal side effects and/or has anyone else had the same after getting their H1N1 vaccine?

*Please no anti-H1N1 vaccine people, I got mine since I am in a high risk age group, have asthma, always get the regular flu shot, and I’m a nursing student working with OB/peds, so I have plenty of reasons to get vaccinated.

when i had the flu, blood work came back having elevated anti-nuclear-antibody. Rhumotoid arth. has been ruled out. I have no symptoms of lupus. Body feels good now. I’m back to exercising almost everyday for about an hour.
my age is 47.
