Aspirating excess follicles?

I’m just wondering, has anyone here responded too well to their ovulation induction treatment, and had their excess follicles aspirated? I had my son (3yrs) from one cycle of IUI – without any drugs. To conceive my daughter (10mths) I used injectables (FSH – puregon) and in my first cycle I produced a few follicles, with three being viable, so there was risk of multiples, but the pregnancy was a singleton. We’re now trying for our third child – and yesterday, with my first cycle with injectables (at a low dose of 75iu), I had produced about 11 follicles, with around six ranging in diametre from 18mm to 26mm. I had no safe choice but to cancel the cycle, as my specialist said he was confident I would have got pregnant with quads or quins. I was given the option of converting to IVF, but didn’t want to do that as it is so expensive, and I don’t think I need to resort to IVF as this early stage of trying. I was also given the option for my doctor to perform an aspiration to get rid of around 9 follicles, just leaving two. At first I was keen to do this, as I didn’t want to discontinue my cycle, but he then told me that because so many would need to be aspirated, it could affect the chances of the remaining eggs to fertilise. He also said that during aspiration, there is a small risk of infection, also of an abcess forming on one of the ovaries – this scared me, so with a heavy heart, I had to cancel this cycle. I’m just wondering, has anyone been in this situation, and gone ahead with aspiration, and what has been the pregnancy outcome? I know this procedure is performed during IVF, but for ovulation induction, obviously it is different. If this happens again, I will be gutted, as it’s such a waste having to cancel cycles. Also, wondered, has anyone had any success using clomid? Dr suggested I change next cycle to clomid, as it is less ‘potent’, but I have a history of ovarian cysts, and am nervous to use it. Also, I know I respond well to puregon, so would rather just try a lower dose of puregon. Any advice would be wonderful!

How to make small and easy changes to a healthier diet?

I have a horrible diet. I usually eat cereal for breakfast, and junk food, such as chips, brownies, and pop, for the rest of the meals later on in the day. I am very busy, playing three sports and taking guitar lessons, so I don’t have much time to cook a healthy meal on the stove or in the oven.

How can I make small, easy, and effective changes to my diet? Oh, and by the way, I’m a vegetarian (although I do eat dairy and eggs), so I don’t eat any meat or anything.

Is it possible for a woman to be born barren?

I was watching a movie about a woman who only had one egg left and after she was supposed to have her period, she would lose it. It got me thinking about how you are born with a set number of eggs and you go through menopause after that number is released. So just wondering but is it possible for a girl to be born with no eggs?Another question I have is if a woman becomes barren, does she still have a period?

What vegetarian diet is best for controlling blood sugar?

I am having a heck of a time getting my blood sugar under control after some diet slips while on vacation (nothing even that major, bites of things!) I am mostly vegan. I was raw vegan, eating a lot of fruit, but my blood sugar never went down on that diet. I have been eating mostly veggies and some eggs, because I feel the fruit has too much sugar in it. Also I walk 45 minutes a day and do calisthenics.

What kind of diet can give me more energy and make me feel better?

I been feeling very low with no energy in my body. My diet isn’t great but I wondered if eating certain foods might help me feel not so drained. Also is there any food that helps with depression and axiety? I know eggs can help with depression. I way 98 pounds and 5’5 tall. My wieght is a bit shocking but I burn calories very quickly. It runs in the family my dad used to be very thin. Same with my brother 126 pounds and being 5’8.

How do I treat my bloated looking belly?

I’m 5"2, 15 year old female teenager and I’m about 110lbs, so I naturally have a average kind of figure. But my tummy is really annoying me! =[
It sticks out so much and it looks as if I’m in the early stages of pregnancy or something! ( I’m definitely not pregnant by the way! )
I even have to undo my belt or button or zip on my clothes sometimes because my tummy is so big! It’s not fat like it doesn’t have creases in it or anything or rolls of fat, it’s just one big ball!
I’ve had it ever since I was little and it annoys me so much, whenever I’m around anyone I have to breath in so that they only see how my tummy should look, and then as soon as I get home I breath out and my tummy comes out xD
I really really would love to have it sorted out within about 2 months because I’m going on holiday with my friend to Cornwall and we’re going swimming!
Actually I would rather it if it was sorted during May because we’re going to practice swimming beforehand as well!
Help please and thank you ^^
Oh if it makes a difference, I rarely exercise >.<
Oh and I am a vegan so I don’t eat any meat, dairy, eggs or honey.
But I do munch on quite a bit of food.
But not enough to make me fat! I just eat out of boredom I guess.
I eat pretty quickly aswell.
I don’t think I’m constipated or anything.
I drink quite alot of fizzy drinks.
Oh and I eat quite alot of wheat products.
I’m not in any pain whatsoever, it’s just more uncomfortable like I always feel as if I’m full and as if I’m breathing out the most I can even though I’m not!

I don’t know if any of that makes a difference I’ve just read on sites before about those kinds of thingsss.
Actually I don’t drink that many fizzy drinks but I do sometimes like maybe 3 cans a week.
