So, how short is too short for a plus sized woman? I just got a dress, it is right below the knee, but I feel as if my calves are too big to wear a dress that shows them. But on the other hand, ankle length dresses are …. blah!! and completely unflattering.
Perhaps it is because this is the first dress I have owned since childhood, so I am not used to seeing myself in one. I generally wear pants and only pants!
Do you think below the knee is too short? even If I do have big calves?

Just wondering if flip flops or sandals be a smart or a bad choice? How about dresses? Know if they would okay to wear, or would I be the only one? I want to be comfortable walking the course in the hot hot Texas weather. Thanks for any suggestions!

Or mini skirts and dresses? Or is it just optional for them to cover their body?

My friend and I are planning to start our own clothing line. We aren’t from the U.S. so we don’t know what sizes to use. What are the standard/international sizes for women’s clothes? For dresses? For blouses? And for t-shirts?

I know that The Notebook was set in 1946, and I liked the dresses that Allie wore in the movie, so I was wondering what else Southern women wore back then?

I was diagnosed with a fibroid tumor over two years ago. The thing has gotten bigger over time and is now starting to look like the early stages of a pregnancy,. I cannot wear any of my cute little dresses anymore because the stomach bulge from the tumor is embarassing.
I haven’t been to the obgyn in two years because I do not have very good health insurance and it is very expensive. The last time I did go she just told me that as long as I am not having any complications from it, than there is nothing I should do about it. I am starting to become embarassed with the way that I look and I want to get rid of it. I have done some online research about it but it talks about having surgery or getting pills to shrink it. Surgery is too expensive and I can’t afford it and the pills seem like a gimmick.
Is there anything that I can do to rid mysel of this ugly tumor?? Help
I am only 30 and I do not want to have to dress like an old lady.
