Toxic Question…Can Phantom (Terminix product) be dangerous to people?

The exterminator used phantom in my RV to get rid of bed bugs. It left a heavy coating on all surfaces- (looked like dried milk was on everything when dry). 3 weeks later after vacuming and cleaning up what I could of it I developed unusually high diastolic blood pressure. I spent the better part of 3 days in the RV and drove it cross country. I called the 800 number on the MSDS from BASF chemical company. The nurse from BASF said that it couldn’t be caused by the chemical.

I usually have a low normal BP but it’s been high for almost a week. I am concerned about inhaling so much of it and sitting in a seat that was coated with it. Though the exterminator did say it was safe to humans after three days.

I went to the ER because of odd chest pains and they kept me on a heart monitor for several hours, did anX-ray then a cat scan of my chest, blood work, etc. I had no idea my Blood pressure was up till then. They found no reason for it. The ER doctor asked if I had been exposed to any chem. and suggested that this might be the cause. They got my BP down to a decent level and sent me home. I monitored my BP until I could get to My Dr. but it was down to 120′s/80′s which it gets down to occasionally. but is typically 130′s/100′s sometimes higher sometimes lower but averaging 128/106 according to my monitor. The monitor also checks for irregular heart beat but has only recorded that 3 times in the last two days (Only 3 times out of 20 times I’ve checked it). My Dr. told me tomonitor it for two weeks and come back. He didn’t think it was a problem since I was in the 80′s and questioned the accuracy of the previous measurments… Taken by me and my mother-she uses an old fashioned pump, I used my husbands digital, then I bought one made for women… The new one records it and gives averages and checks for abnormal heart beats. The last reading was 149/105

Anyway, could this be a reaction to the chemical? If so how long before it goes away.

How many calories should I be eating while on a diet?

I’m 15, 5’4, and about 116 pounds. I would really like to be 110 pounds by November 20th at the latest. I’ve dieted in the past but I ate a really unhealthy amount of calories, and this time I want to do it the healthy way. I run cross country for school, so I run 3-7 miles a day. How many calories should I be eating while on this diet per day? Also, how long do you think it will take to lose the amount of weight I’d like to? Thank you!

Any advice for a top Neurologist for familial seizure disorder ?

Three of my four sons have inherited a seizure disorder from my husband. It starts off as febrile seizures in youth. It can be outgrown up to age 7 or last through age 18. It can be caused by other reasons which we think include exhaustion (by lack of sleep or exercise induced) & poor diet. At age 3, my oldest with this was tried on anti-seizure medications (Tegretol, Dylantin, Depakote, Phenobarbitol) at Barrow’s Neurological Center in Phoenix,AZ but medicines did not prevent seizures but caused seizures. His 1 min long febrile seizures became 6 a day & up to 45 mins. long. He lost his ability to walk & talk but gained it back once weaned off medicine. Because of this, I do not want to medicate any of my kids for fear of permanent brain damage. Outgrown by age 7, he now has had one at 16 & at 17 which appear to be due to running track or cross country to exhaustion (or heat). At this age, his driving has me concerned. Suggestions on ways to keep this from happening naturally?

What are some good tips to loose weight without going on a diet?

I just want to trim a few pounds.
I love food too much to go on a diet.
I do excersise. I take gym which is about 45 mins a day, and I am now working on my cardiovascular endurance for basketball. I play basketball and volleyball frequently. We also run 3/4 cross country mile once a week.
My lunch usually consists of a soda, turkey sandwich and some sort of snack. I usually dont eat breakfast. Dinner is a variety.
I try to drink a limit of two 8 ounce sodas a day.
What can I do to easily trim a few pounds without going on a "diet"?
I’m 13. Gym is just PE. not a workout gym…

What is the best diet and exercise routine that I can use to get in shape by the end of summer?

I don’t eat much fast food at all.
I eat fruit everyday.
I only drink one soft drink a day.

I did tennis, but seemed to only gain weight.
I’m doing cross country this summer (hopefully) as well.
I just want to get in shape and I really want to trim around my thighs and tummy.

Any particular workout routine or diet that you know of that works well?
