My girlfriend and I had sex with a condom the day before she was supposed to get her period. The condom broke, but I didn’t ejaculate yet. I stopped and put on a new condom. The next day, she got her period as expected and is still having it two days later.

I’ve been reading that it is very unlikely for a woman to get pregnant the day before her period, since fertility is usually in the middle (around day 11-16) of her cycle. I am just worried because she told me of pain in her stomach, and she threw up. She said these are unusual symptoms to go along with her period.

Although I did not see any ejaculate when the condom broke and I wasn’t close to orgasm, I am still worried about the possibility of her getting pregnant. It will take about another 2 weeks before we can use an at-home pregnancy test, but it is too late to use emergency contraception like the morning after pill.

What is the liklihood that she is pregnant, and is there anything to do about it at this stage?
My girlfriend’s period ended Thursday, and we had sex yesterday, Friday.

She experienced some spotting last night, the day we had sex. Does this mean she’s pregnant? We could use Plan B for yesterday’s intercourse, but not for the one I was initially concerned about, right?

So here is the info for you:
I am sexually active, but use a condom EVERY TIME and am on the pill. I haven’t missed a pill at all and he never ejaculates inside of me, ever.

But here is the flip side. About 3 weeks ago, I found out my mother had masses on her liver, and I’ve been crying, and not sleeping, and eating unheathily, and to say the least I’ve been an emotional wreck. We now know she has Inflammatory Breast Cancer, stage 4, that has spread to her Liver via her Lymph system.

I took two tests, and both came back negative for pregnancy.
It’s only been a few days since my period should have started. And I know it wants to, because I’m cramping, and I broke out on time as usual.

So, I wanted to ask, is it possible that this upset about my mother could be making my period late, or make it not come at all?

I have decided for the abortion. There was abortion vs. adoption. The pregnancy is very early. 5 weeks and 4 days. The father wants its baby, but we have not been in a relationship for some time and we just broke up properly. My moral told me this is the bast and human thing to do, in the sense that I won’t forget what metters to mylife and future as well.

This is going to be my second abortion after 5 months. Therefor I’d like to know whichone to choose. Should I try the medical one or the early surgical under local anestetics. So that there is no infertility afterwards, less risks and pain involved.

If you have your own experience or you know someone that has had at the stage of app. 6 weeks, please be kind to tell me about it and like that I will chose what is best.

I am afraid of permanent damage and pain as well.

I was starting with the pills this may, butnthat period never came. so don’t even try to tell me how iresponsible i was. the only iresponsibility i had was to let a guy assure me that he was carefule just because he didn’t like the condoms. I think women ere sometimes forget what a pregnancy means. It is as if he was pregnant as well. Any abortion that a woman goes trough is a mistake on both sides. But if there is a damage she is the only one to hurt. Believe me this could happen to your own daughter, sister, mother, so try to reason when you talk, not to be rotten judjers of peoples life you don’t even know.
and yes for all those who are more reasonable and careful how they talk, i like to say that i will never ever have a sex without condom or if not on the pill. i won’t allow myslef this horrible things repeating.

im 15 years old and i started my period in december 2006. i have had irregular periods so i would have 1 month gaps..etc… but i have not been on my period now since february 2009, and it is now june. im really worried and i don’t know why its so late. i am sexually active, but me and my boyfriend use protection every time,and i know the condom has never split. i dont seem to have any pregnancy symptoms. note i am at exam stage and i have also suffered a loss so maybe it could be stress? PLEASEE HELPP!

I had sex without a condom and I had just ended a day prior to the act. I know The lining of your uterus builds up through-out the month so that about half way through, an egg can be released and go down to be fertilized and then implant into the lining to grow. He pulled out. I understand the risks of pre-cum, and also that you can get pregnant during all stages of your cycle…but I just want to know if I’m pretty much in the clear…I also just lost my virginity, I don’t think that affects my pregnancy chance…thanks so much…

My boyfriend and I had sex about a week ago. I’ve been taking the birth control pill for a year. I only missed the pill for a week (during the placebo pills) because of a surgery. My period came early because of surgery and lasted longer than normal, which the birth control helped control. The surgery happened January 29 2010. I’ve almost done with the last week (placebo pills) of the pack I started afterwards. Does the fact that I missed the placebo pills matter?

We had sex a few times and didn’t use the condom all the time and he finished inside. I’ve been taking my pills for 3 solid weeks and am on the placebo pills now. We got a little nervous after we had sex and agreed to get the morning after pill just in case. I haven’t stopped or missed anypills for a month, and I took the bc pills in addition to the morning after pill and we purchased the pill within 24 hours. Less than 24 hours actually.
How likely would it be to be pregnant?
Or is my system just a little thrown off from when I had surgery? Or is it from the morning after pill??

We are both in the early stages of college and currently in a long distance relationship. I lost my virginity to him, and we both are clear of any diseases. We are young, and have been together for some time now and the long distance relationship. We see eachother every couple months for 3 days at least. Like I said we are both clear of any infections or diseases, and we know that with sex there is always the possibility of pregnancy. We’ve sat down and talked about the possibility of pregnancy. If it were to happen we would stay together and work through it, and we’d find a way to make it work if it happened. Although we would prefer for it not to happen yet, we at least have a plan just in case.
I know everyone will say the only way to prevent it is to not have sex, but we do, and will. Only a couple times every 2-3 months. We both also know people will say why risk it or go through that when we’re at our age, and whatever else they may say, but long story short we are crazy in love with eachother and like soulmates. We have a plan to move in together and eventually get married, so we are truly committed to eachother.

If I’ve been taking the birth control correctly and we had unprotected sex and he finished inside, then took the morning after pill within 24 hours of having sex, what are the chances of pregnancy??
