How badly does beer sabotage weight loss?

Ok, some may say I am an alcoholic but I like to have about 3 beers every evening with dinner. Everyone has an addiction whether it’s cigarettes, coffee, soda, exercise, etc. So how badly am I sabotaging my exercise and weight loss efforts? I had a baby one year ago yesterday and have yet to lose any weight. I exercise at least 4 days a week doing much cardio (3 mile jog) and some weightlifting.

How much weight loss is normal after an episode of food poisoning?

I had food poisoning recently; I was throwing up and had diarrahea for about 8 hours. The following day all I was able to eat were bananas, toast and apples. The day after that I ate a little more, not much and the following day I ate semi-normal. I have now been eating normally for 2-3 days. I work out regularly with a trainer and my diet is pretty healthy. My question is, how much weight loss is normal due to food poisoning? I noticed I lost about 3 lbs in a matter of days and it has not gone back on yet. I do not think I am dehyrdated, at least my pee looks normal (pale yellow). I do not drink water regularly, and unfortunatley I drink a lot of coffee. Is the weight loss normal due to the food poisoning or should I be concerned? I don’t really have any other symptoms, my mouth and skin are kinda dry, but it is winter and it has been pretty dry outside. Any thoughts??

Do diet pills take effect on women who are taking birth control?

I have been on birth control for about 6 months and will recently start Arson a diet supplement pill to enhance my work outs. The diet pill says it contains about 3 cups of coffee along with other things. SO i was wondering if the diet pills will take a bad effect on my body because of the birth control. Like will i increases my chances of getting a blood clot?

What would be the best diet plan for me?

I’m 5’6 and 156 lbs and my goal is 140 by May 25. I need suggestions on how to loose weight. I can stick to a strict exercise routine but I am not very strict with my diet. I can stay away from non-healthy food but I’m always hungry and all I ever want is ramen noodles and cereal (Special K, Natures Grain, Shredded Wheat).

My normal routine:
BREAKFAST: cereal, 2 cups coffee, lots of 2%milk
LUNCH+DINNER: cereal or a package of ramen noodles
SNACKS: grapes, bananas or toasted wheat bread w/ PB
DRINKS: 1-3 cups of coffee 3-5x a week and lots of 2% milk. I hate water but I try to force myself to drink it.
EXERCIZE: crunches, AbRoller, jump rope, exercise bike or run for 30 minutes at least 3x a week.

What can I add or take out of my diet or exercize routine? What can I do that is effective enough for me to lose 16 lbs before May 25? I am open to an suggestions. Thank you very much!

In need of weight loss help….feel like cutting fat from me arghhhh?

i don’t need anyone to tell me how to diet, because i know how..i have a problem with doing it since i had my son.
Before i was pregnant i had slimmed down a lot, i didn’t gain much weight during pregnancy and it seemed to drop off straight after but then it all came back on. I used to gain weight on my legs but now it goes on my tummy…It seems that everything i eat goes on my stomach.
I do exercise and eat healthily but then i seem to get to a stage where i binge for a week…it’s really bad. Some days i’ll eat 4 chocolate bars on top of a take away. I’ll do that for say a week and then the week after i’ll feel so bad that i only have coffee and one digestive biscuit for a week. I know in my head that it isn’t right but i can’t stop myself. I HATE how i look. I won’t even take my son swimming, he’s only been once and he’s 8 months old now.
I’ve done weight watchers before and did well but i’m a mum and a student now so my time is very limited. But when i try to do it at home i don’t stick to my points.
I’ve got to the point where i’ve fantasised about cutting fat away from my stomach. I am a size 14(uk) but i feel huge and when i look in the mirror i see a 20 stone woman looking back at me. My breasts are a H cup and i want to cut them off too. I’m only 20 but i feel like an old frump.
i don’t want your pity but i would like some tips on keeping motivated and some quick/easy healthy recipes as having an 8 month old and a house to keep (i live alone) and 4 assignments i find i go for the quicker food which is usually the worst for me…
Please help me :(

How do you reduce acidity in your diet?

I have finally got my acid reflux under control, but the other day it reoccured. Besides the obvious (eliminating coffee and beer for instance) what else can you do to reduce acidity from your diet?
