I have gotten cold sores since I was a teenager- I get them ALOT and they are big. Once in a while they are on my lip but they pop up on my chin, cheek more often. I have always tried reading up on them, but nothing seems to help… I read all kinds of home remedies and not one of them has ever helped me, anything over the counter does not help, especially any cream, causes it to spread, L-Lysine does not help, I take it daily and have for years but still get cold sores constantly- I read that as you get older you get less outbreaks and the virus eventually burns itself out, however it seems like the older I get the more I get… I use to get them occasionally when I was younger, as I have gotten older I have gotten more and more.. this year I have had 5 and it’s only March-more and more things are causing me to have outbreaks, that never did before, certain lip glosses, or chapsticks, anything that has any anti-aging in it, any kind of toner, and some facial washes, if I’m out in the sun for even 10 minutes without sunblock on I will get a cold sore- I always read about applying things during the tingle or itch, however my cold sores always come out while I am sleeping, I have never gotten any sign of a cold sore during the day…. I am getting so aggravated because I read about all these things whether it’s a home remedy, medication, vitamins, etc… that help all these people and I can’t understand why nothing helps me-anybody else have this problem?
I have tried suppressive therapy under a Dr. care, with little noticable results… it seems to help there, why did I wake up with a cold sore but it doesn’t help when I’m sick or if I apply something to my skin that seems to cause an outbreak-it was to expensive to keep using when I was still getting coldsores

I got it two months ago without knowing what it was because I thought it was some formed of dermatitis. It started to spread from one cheek, big red bumps to my left cheeks but now they are just small red pustules like. It used to be itchy and burning. Since being on doxycycline, no longer feel the intense itchy and burn.

Why do women get them especially I am 22 year old and never have any severe acne problem before. Does dust played a part? I cleaned my room entirely and sniffed in a lot of dust and had a rash from a cosmetic products before too.

I have uneven skin tone due to sun damage and I’ve had it for 5 years. I’ve tried almost everything out there and the moisturizer I am currently using right now is Aveeno Positively Radiant with spf 15 to Even out skin tone, but it Doesn’t even out skin tone! I’ve been using it for almost 2 years now and I have not seen results but it moisturizes my face good. It doesn’t irritate my skin or anything so at the same time, I’m kinda scared to use other moisturizers coz I have a very sensitive ‘normal’ skin but I am also acne prone. My question is, if I get this Olay Anti Aging Moisturizer, will it help even out my skin tone and get rid of some of my acne scar? There’s about 4 or 5 dark acne scars on my right cheek lol, it’s very noticeable coz I have naturally brown skin and my scars are very dark. Should I try this Olay and if it’s not the right one, what should I get? Thank you in advance
