is wearing flip flops healthy for feet or not? please see my details?
Hi. Like most girls at 17 I love wearing flip flops all the time but many articles say they are bad for your feet. I don’t get it.
The anti-flipflop articles say that b/c flip flops lack arch support your feet may get fallen arches. However many websites that encourage bare feet (which I also do a lot but only indoors) say that going barefoot can HELP strengthen your feet and develop good arches.
See the contradiction? Going barefoot and flip flops both have no arch support but barefoot can "tone your feet" and flip flops will "cause fallen arches". It makes no sense. I think flip flops is the closest you can get to natural barefoot walking without dirty feet and risk injury/infection. Can someone explain? Thanks!

Paranoid sister in law?
My sister in law has been in a funk lately and it’s been getting us all down. Just today she starting crying and having panic attacks. She’s very dismissive and won’t tell us anything that’s wrong We gave her a mg of lorazepam to calm her down and about an hour later, she starts bawling again to her mom.
Her mom calms her down and manages to get her to say something. It turns out, she thinks the whole family is plotting to poison her because she feels that we are talking behind her back and our harmless teasing is serious harassment.
I’m really surpised by her paranoid thoughts and I really, REALLY think she should see a therapist. Mental issues do run in their family. In fact, her brother was on anti-depressants when he was her age and their father isn’t that stable either.
She’s 17, generally pretty happy, but a little anti-social. She can be an over-achieving stress case. She can get some serious bouts of anger where she threatens to do violent things, but never actually acts on them. And violent as in, gouging someones eyes out or something along that line.
I really don’t know what to do. Any help?
Anti-depressants make you do things you normally wouldn't do?
So, there were several deaths in my family…one of my soon to be brother in law age 24, and my uncle…I was having a very hard time dealing with the stress as my fiance wad devastated and I had just moved away from home to go to school. The death of his brother put a HUGE strain on our relationship…we weren’t getting along anymore and we stopped having sex for almost 4 months straight. I started failing classes and was put on anti depressants. I ended up cheating on my fiance several times with multiple people. This was WAAAAY out of my character and I just felt awful and not like myself. Could it have been the medicine I was on?
Things have been smoothed out now. We are moving on and my grades are improving. I back with A’s and B’s and graduating college next semester.
I was just curious if anyone has had this type of experience before?
And please don’t judge me…I am not happy about my actions. I am a Christian and a very nice person who just happened to make a mistake.

Can pregnancy pills, before 4 months of pregnancy, may cause autism if takend?
OK, im 17 years old and i have a 4 year old brother that is autism. As i asked my mom, what did she believed that may happened that my brother came autistic. She said that when she had me, she didnt take anything that had chemicals, at least until she was 8 months pregnant, and she took care of herself very well. She said she didnt take any pills or anything chemicals, on such early development so she thought that may harm me as i was developing. When she was with child , with my brother she took those pills on such early stage. So she suspects that, that may had something to do with but its not proven as much to be sure. So, please let me hear your opinions it may be important , if such opinion as this has not been heard!!
What diet does a person with Crohns disease have to follow?
My brother was just diagnosed with Crohns on Thursday, but can not get into the doctor or nutritionist for a week and a half. What are the diet guidelines that he should be following until he can get into the doctor so he wont be aggravating it?
Also… my brother is only 32, is that young for a diagnosis like this?
