weight loss for women?

I am a mother of a 3 year old and a 4 month old. I was put on the birth control mirena and find it hard to loose weight. I was given a bottle of lean balance and was wondering if this is a good product. I also heard about slim quick made for women, is this also a good product. I was thinking about walking everyday with my kids in the morning before I have to go to work. What would be the best diet for a mother, any suggestions will help.

Average woman’s knowledge about the morning-after pill?

I’m currently a virgin, but I’ve recently been looking into contraceptive options for when I DO lose my virginity. I don’t want to start using birth control pills, for fear that my mother will become suspicious (I’ll be 18 soon, but I’m still living under her roof for another year). I’ve decided that condoms are a must, but I want a back-up plan in case a condom doesn’t work — my sister became pregnant when the condom her boyfriend used broke. I’ve done light research on the morning-after pill, but I want to know what’s it’s all about from women who have used it. If you’ve used a morning-after pill, please tell me about obtaining them. I know they are under-the-counter products at pharmacies, but how do you ask for them? How much did it cost? What side effects did you experience, if any? Thank so much in advance if you can answer any of these questions.

Received this today….Question about birth control???? Is this true?

I received an e-mail from a friend today, and it was one of those forwarded messages (hate those things). Anyway, the e-mail was about a woman who passed out one day, was taken to the hospital, and they found she had a blood clot in her neck. The clot allegedly spread to her brain, causing bleeding,& they operated on her, could not stop the clot from spreading,&she eventually died. Then, the e-mail goes on to say that the woman had been taking some kind of birth control where you only have a period 3 times a year,&this was the cause of her blood clot…because it interrupted "life’s menstrual cycle". I have heard of the birth control where you only get your period a few times a year, but I don’t know the exact name of the product. Anyway, I know birth control can potentially cause blood clots, but do you think this particular birth control puts women more at risk or does this e-mail appear to be a hoax? The woman was allegedly a grad student, about to become a Doctor…

I want all of YOUR opinions on this about birth control, and plan B??

if you know what Plan B is and you know what birth control is, then you know that they basically act in the same way, both prevent eggs from being released from the ovarys.
also if the egg is fertilized, plan B MAY prevent the egg from attaching to the womb.
some people who are against abortion say that plan B is the same thing and that is it murder.( do you feel the same way) and that people who have taken it should have used other preventions. so if plan B is just like abortion, then wouldn’t all birth control other then the use of a condom be concidered the same??
and if it is, then am I to be considered a murderer because I used other birth control products? and if so, wouldnt all women who have used birth control be murderers. I am not pro abortion, but I do belive in a right to choose, every situation is diffrent. but honestly other then condoms? what are we supsose to use? and please do not say abstinance, I am a happily married women who enjoys her sex life thank you!

Would you take a pill meant to end periods ?

Women looking for a simple way to avoid their menstrual period could soon have access the first birth control pill designed to let women suppress monthly bleeding indefinitely

Sheldon J. Segal, a scientist at the nonprofit research group Population Council, wrote back that a British study found no harm in taking pills with much higher hormone levels than today’s products for up to 10 years

Lybrel, a name meant to evoke "liberty," would be the fourth new oral contraceptive that doesn’t follow the standard schedule of 21 daily active pills, followed by seven sugar pills — a design meant to mimic a woman’s monthly cycle.

I have SEVERAL women health related issues..?

I have gained a lot of weight recently, due to working and taking night classes; thus not having time to exercises and eating fast food AND eating late every night. And…

* I have not gotten my period in 4 months.

* I feel like I have "hot flashes" because at random points I get very hot, sweaty, and uncomfortable (even when I am just sitting down).

* One of my breasts is extremely tender and hurts at the slightest pressure exerted on it (i.e. adjusting my bra, hugging someone, sleeping on my left side)

* I have been exercising A LOT and eating healthy for a couple of months now and still have not lost a SINGLE pound.

I am an 18 year old working student. I am not pregnant, I am not on birth control (or any other medication for that matter), and I am not sexually active.

I am very concerned about all of this.

Any help with these issues, including how they could be related would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I do not have health insurance, so I appreciate that people believe that I should go to the gynecologist but please bear in mind that I simply cannot at this time..

Thank you very much in advance.
