Why has my weight loss leveled after week 3+ of the Atkins Diet?

I’ve done the atkins diet before with good results. Now i decided to get back to it & have been very good for the past 3+ weeks. I limit myself to <20 carbs on avg & never cheat.

I noticed that my weight loss has leveled off. Is this normal? I’m still in a very dark stage of Ketosis according to the urine strips.

Any suggestions?

Will I all my weight back if I switch from Atkins diet to a different diet?

I’m using the Atkins diet currently, but want to know, when I reach or become near my goal weight, if I switch to another diet that allows more carbs, will I gain weight? I exercise 3-5 times per week for an hour to two hours and have maintained the same weight for about 5 years now. Assume the diet I switch to is a reasonable, balanced diet (food pyramid), and that I will not be irresponsible by binging or the like. Gaining water weight is of no concern, simply whether or not fat gain would occur from my body immediately leaving ketosis.

What is your Atkins diet weight loss story?

I want to know stories of success & failure from those on or previously on the Atkins diet, especially those of you that JUST did the diet and didn’t exercise. Also, any tips?

Are sugar-free cookies and snacks okay to eat during the induction phase of the Atkins diet?

I have been on the Atkins diet for 4 days now and I wanted to know if I can eat sugar-free snacks (ice cream, cookies, candy, etc.) during the induction phase.

If I do eat that, would it slow my results or change my results?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What's the difference between the Atkins diet and a Low carb diet?

I would like to lose weight. I feel like I have to put myself on a "diet" because otherwise I’ll have no clue what I can and can’t eat, and what I should and shouldn’t be doing. Whats the difference between a low carb diet, and going on the Atkins diet? Are they the same? If not, whats better?
