I know women who said they fell deeply in love with their child the moment they were informed that they were pregnant, but in regards to women who contemplate or undergo an abortion – do they feel any of that same powerful emotional tug, that "love for child," and does it cause them grief before and after the abortion?

I went through an abortion recently. It was a product of rape, although I am pro-choice no matter what the situation. I recently asked some questions on the pregnancy forum involving it, and well, got torn to pieces. Luckily I’m a strong woman and it didn’t bother me….but I’ve seen several posts from young girls going through similar situations…..and wow….people don’t have hearts…I mean these girls are on here, many without support in their personal lives…..looking for answers, support, whatever and people just sit there and tell them how they’re going to hell and that they;re murderers. It breaks my heart. I can’t even imagine what they’re going through, already scared about their decision, and then hearing that. I understand that we’re on a public site, and they’re leaving themselves open to whatever any jackass has the time to type…but c’mon
Only to, I did not lie. I was embarissed about being raped and was contemplating this child, despite the cirumstances of it’s conception, so I made up the stuff about my boyfriend b/c I didnt really feel like talking about my rape at that point.
What doesnt make sense? Yes I do have a bf and I have for a long time…but I was raped, I was raped by an ex bf that called me and told me he had somet things of mine…when I went there…well I’ll leave it at that. The reason I know it isn’t my current bf’s is b/c I haven’t had sex with him in over three months.

That an unborn baby is just a "mass of cells", then tell me this: AFTER 8 weeks EVERY organ needed to live is functioning and working just as someone who is born. Is there some sort of magical event that "turns the baby on" the second it hits daylight as opposed to its state of being 1 week earlier?

For all you pro-choicers out there – I can [somewhat] see your views on rape abortion… but just because someone gets an unexpected/underaged pregnancy its okay to kill the LIVING (yes, it is living, in the first 8 hours of conception the HEART cells are beating) zygote? WHy? Just give me something to begin to base a justification of your thinking on… becuase it just does not cross my mind to ever except that. Not to mention the years of thinking that you killed an unborn baby… i just dont get it.

Feel free to give me any insight of your views on any-stage / any-reason abortion.

I found out I was pregnant a few days ago via two pregnancy tests. Before I go any further, I should say I am very liberal and I am 100 percent pro-choice, so please don’t bother using any propaganda or judgmental retorts to answer this question, it won’t get anything but bad karma for you and a thumbs down from me.

I am in the VERY early stage, maybe just two weeks pregnant, since I JUST missed my period. I am 25 and I am not married, I live with my boyfriend, and neither one of us is ready to have a kid. We both decided abortion would be the best route for our life, as well as the undeveloped zygote.

I would love a response from someone who had an abortion, and I would like to know the process and the pain as well. I doubt I will do a general anesthetic because I am deathly afraid of needles, so I was wondering if they give you gas or any valium to sedate you a bit?

I also read about many women’s success with herbal abortions, does anyone know about this? It has been kept pretty hidden, but my mother told me she tried it and was successful, taking massive doses of Vitamin C, which increases estrogen and blocks the progesterone needed to keep the zygote clinging to the wall.

I have decided for the abortion. There was abortion vs. adoption. The pregnancy is very early. 5 weeks and 4 days. The father wants its baby, but we have not been in a relationship for some time and we just broke up properly. My moral told me this is the bast and human thing to do, in the sense that I won’t forget what metters to mylife and future as well.

This is going to be my second abortion after 5 months. Therefor I’d like to know whichone to choose. Should I try the medical one or the early surgical under local anestetics. So that there is no infertility afterwards, less risks and pain involved.

If you have your own experience or you know someone that has had at the stage of app. 6 weeks, please be kind to tell me about it and like that I will chose what is best.

I am afraid of permanent damage and pain as well.

I was starting with the pills this may, butnthat period never came. so don’t even try to tell me how iresponsible i was. the only iresponsibility i had was to let a guy assure me that he was carefule just because he didn’t like the condoms. I think women ere sometimes forget what a pregnancy means. It is as if he was pregnant as well. Any abortion that a woman goes trough is a mistake on both sides. But if there is a damage she is the only one to hurt. Believe me this could happen to your own daughter, sister, mother, so try to reason when you talk, not to be rotten judjers of peoples life you don’t even know.
and yes for all those who are more reasonable and careful how they talk, i like to say that i will never ever have a sex without condom or if not on the pill. i won’t allow myslef this horrible things repeating.
