Is it ok for a woman to wear a wife beater and bra?

Author: No, this question is not going to keep me up at night, so chill on the flames. Just happened to be shopping today and saw a woman in her 40′s wearing jeans a wife beater and a white bra underneath.
Would you wear this out in public? Just seemed odd to me.
I see your point…it could look pretty hot on a lot of girls. But yeah after a certain age not so much.
