How long after a D and C should a woman get her period?

Author: I have a roommate I think is lying to me about having medical procedures. How long after a D and C (woman stuff) should a woman get her period? I’ve been told a month, but I want to get any information I can before coming to a conclusion. She got hers about 5-6 days later. i would think after getting cleaned out it would be at least a month. Any help and info would be appreciated. Thanks!!

The day of a D and C is considered a Day 1 of a menstrual cycle, so she will get a period when she forms an endometrium again in about a month.
