How can I improve my diet and gain weight?
Hey guys,
I’m a rising senior in college and would like to improve my diet for several reasons. I’ve worked about about every day now for 8 years or so, so I’m in good shape but lately I feel like my body’s breaking down. I’m 5’11" and weigh about 135.
Ever since wrestling season my senior year in HS (3.5 years ago) I’ve struggled to keep my weight up. And whenever I DO put on weight I feel like it always goes straight to my stomach.
What’s the best way for me to put on weight and improve my diet so my weight goes to my whole body? I lift weights a lot also but for the last few years I’ve been strictly doing strength reps. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
I’m 5′-8" and Weigh 200 pounds. EAT BEANS RICE, SPAGHETTI, AND DRINK MILK.
eat wayyy more, it worked for me!
Drink Ensure you can get it at the pharmacy or Walmart
try weight gainers and boosting your protein
The best food to eat is white rice and cheese, preferably together. I suggest a hearty helping of Spanish rice with melted cheese. It’s not the best for your cholesterol, parse, but it is the fastest way to gain weight.
i know you told guys to answer but eat healthy fats, and drink ensure they sell it at wal-mart.
your making me seem fat.
i’m 5’6 and weigh 127.
To gain weight you have to eat more calories than you burn. When adding calories, try to stay away from adding too much fat. While you can get fat from eating carbohydrates or protein, your body likes to use carbohydrates as fuel more than fat. To gain muscle, in addition to eating more you have to stimulate your muscles enough through resistance training that while they recover, they’ll get bigger and stronger. To get an efficient workout you might want to join a gym if you aren’t already a member.
